Brugola OEB strengthens its sustainability plan with Forever Bambù: A fourth bamboo forest to neutralize 1040 tons of CO2 annually
Brugola OEB is pleased to announce the enhancement of its collaboration with Forever Bambù Società Benefit. The president of Forever Bambù, Emanuele Rissone, recently presented a special plaque to President Jody Brugola to commemorate the acquisition of a fourth bamboo forest.
Located in Trezzo d’Adda (MI), this new hectare of giant bamboo will have a significant impact on the environment, absorbing a remarkable 260 tons of CO2 each year. This contribution adds to the other 3 bamboo forests already acquired by Brugola OEB, bringing the total carbon dioxide neutralization to 1040 tons annually.
Active participation in the Forever Zero CO2 project enables Brugola to offset CO2 emissions from a portion of its Italian plants. This initiative aligns with our ongoing commitment to more sustainable production practices. A valuable project, also recognized by the University of Siena as a carbon sink activity. We continue to pursue our sustainability mission, actively contributing to carbon emission neutralization and promoting a positive impact on the environment.
